Not only it's alive, but we will be the USC of the Pac-12.It’s ALIVE! Better than where the conference was two weeks ago.

It's pretty simple. Your favorite sources (Brietbart, redstate, The Federalist, etc) are far right-wing "publications" that are 100% against the Democrats or anyone else who smells like a moderate or liberal. They'll say anything, fact or fiction. They are not news outlets. Call CNN left-leaning if you want, but they actually attempt to fairly report the news. They will call out or question Democrats on all kinds of issues. That is a news outlet.Let me ask you a simple, honest question. Why do you keep bashing "right wing sources" and eating up anything and everything that the left/MSM sources keep feeding you when it has been shown so many times that your sources have jumped on board a story with a narrative/agenda that is later proven to be false?
Certainly a possibility. Pretty likely one of the two happens I would think.Gotta wonder if there is any notion of the Big 12 moving the four traitors into a division with the "new" Pac-12.
Failure to pick up UNLV would be on the all time dumb ass trophy.Yahoo was the original report, and CBS is picking it up from them. So is the Athletic. Ross Dillinger and Wilner seem to be the only two original articles, but it’s starting to go wider. Announcement as soon as tomorrow, apparently.
I don’t see this as a move to join. The Big 12 or ACC. This is preserving the Pac. What I see is positioning to provide a soft landing place for Stanford & Cal if the ACC comes apart. If that doesn’t happen, or doesn’t happen in time, it’ll be easier to pull UNLV and someone else from the reduced MWC.
This will be the west coast “division” in the breakup of the ACC to form power conference #5. Big 12 may see a little churn as well, but I imagine there are some handshakes happening with ACC schools in this agreement knowing the eventual fate of that conference.
Just heard that we offered UNLV, but they insisted on being a package deal with Nevada. We said no because that would drop the MWC below 8 teams.
If true, I'm glad that we took the high road and left the MWC intact.

Gotta let the dust settle before evaluating this. If we become the West coast branch of an existing conference, this will be a good move. Either way, it's going to buy us time to rebuild with the best of the rest. Can we stop calling this the PAC #? Might as well call this MWC 2.0.
I usually watch Harris Faulkner (yes, on FNC) at 8:00 in the mornings. I think she is the best thing going on cable news channels, and she is beautiful also. So Wednesday morning she had a small focus group on, with 2 Dems, 2 Repubs, and 2 Indies. Also there was poll expert Lee Carter, all to discuss the previous night's debate. Most of the feedback was not a big surprise, about what you might expect from each of the participants. But what WAS a surprise was what Lee Carter shared.Oh sorry - Reuters interviewed 10 people. Well that calls the election. Maybe they should now poll 10 million Swifties.

And I don't believe you. What was your degree from WSU? Sure as shit wasn't English. It's board, not bored. Not the first time you have misspelled this.
I couldn’t give your thread a “thumbs up” although I agree with you 💯Yes, the remaining MW schools are going to be EMOTIONALLY DEVASTATED. Plus, their future TV deals may even look weaker, financially. It's really bad for them.
I'm not going to run down the MWC bylaws, but my recollection is a super majority (my fuzzy recollection is 75 percent) was needed to dissolve. If that be the case, then do only 6 votes count towards a dissolution of the conference to cancel exit fees? (If that's how all that works)
I assume the votes were not there, or the number of schools the Pac-12 wanted was less than the number needed to dissolve.Do the schools have the option to vote on dissolving the conference?

Why do you keep bashing "right wing sources" and eating up anything and everything that the left/MSM sources keep feeding you when it has been shown so many times that your sources have jumped on board a story with a narrative/agenda that is later proven to be false?I'm not angry at all. I'm happy as can be. This 9/11 "thread" has nothing to do with anything current or Coug.
I do grow weary of the fact that every single thing you and Stretch post and refer to and link comes from right-wing sources (aka liars). And most of your shit is just stupid "X" crap. Like your latest from Breitbart. If you want discourse, good. But your endless mind-numbing shit has gotten pretty old. Yet here I am, moth to flame......

Why would Cal and Stanford want to play with these schools? They didn't want to two years ago. You can argue travel but they are both world-class leading universities. They'll end up in the BIG to form a PAC 8 pod before joining the MWC 2.0.Pac-12 link
Part of me feels a little bad for the MWC left-behinds who now feel exactly like we did a year ago. But that, unfortunately, is what CFB is now.
I think it’s doubtful we’ll get our CFP representative back. I think that the remaining 2 slots are for Cal & Stanford, if they want them, and for UNLV and a player to be named later if they don’t.
If by “viable”you mean minimally functional but with little value, I agree. And once we take UNLV, there’s no value left.At least we left them a weakened but viable league, unlike what happened last year.

Do the schools have the option to vote on dissolving the conference? The PAC 12 can piss money away like no other.
IMHO, this could have been accomplished for a helluva lot less money.
