Especially since they gave so much love to the pooches being only 7 point dogs to the Ducks.
Amazing. We play pretty good in Autzen, too.
Was talking to a Duck yesterday, and they're really concerned about our game.
Shocking that the worst offense in the Pac-12 was 6.5 underdogs and we are 16? Can't believe it?

Not surprising. Dickert’s never won a game coming off of a bye
they could just be trying to generate action on an otherwise meh game. A bunch of people get in and bet the cougs and the line moves closer to 14 and you can lure some more Duck bettors.

The Coug/Duck history suggests that the game might get out of hand, and it could go either way, since historically the rankings of the participants are no gauge of how the game will be played. But given what we've seen thus far, unless one team or the other has a bunch of turnovers, I see a pretty close game. I'll be surprised if the final score is more than 10 points either way. I'd think that a reasonable line, all things considered might be 7 points or so. With this line, taking the Cougs and the points is an attractive looking proposition....
The ducks will be a lot like BYU 3-5 yards a carry and eat up clock. Unless the Cougs are at least plus 2 in turnovers this games is difficult to win. Always like our chances against the Ducks, the key is to slow down their running games and force them to throw, or get a lead early and force them out of their run game.
