2 offensive linemen carted off already?

Word is QBs getting pressured quickly in camp. This cuts two ways of course and I think the DLine has a chance to be one of the best units in the conference but I sure hope a. These injuries aren’t serious and/or B. there’s enough depth to patch things up before season starts.

gotta strengthen those ankles!
The sand pit is one of the two things leach did to prevent lower leg injuries . I remember probably four oline injuries to starters during the leach years. Was it Sorenson who got injured in 2014 right before Halliday got busted up against usc.

Ecklund I think against asu in 15. And dahl against CU and it took out like falk .

The second thing by passing so much he kept his lineman out of high traffic areas on run plays . His splits were so wide on pass plays that he avoided lineman getting rolled up by a body on the ground .
Morris’ offense has more running plays inside the tackles that will bring more big bodies into play and increase the odds for injury .

But I do think it was a mistake to get rid of the sand pit as I think it did help with lower leg injuries .

We have solid ends. Tackles, TBD.

Thousands of footballs snaps at multiple levels and multiple leagues and rarely do you have position groups dropping like flies.

Something is off and needs to be addressed.

So now we have a team full of non-recruited players AND they're getting injured. This isn't just coincidence - smaller, weaker guys will get injured more.

Only thing tk be addressed is go to leach’s offense where collisions are not common on the interior .

And wasn’t one of the players recruited by leach ?

Coach said today that he hopes to have both guys back by game 1.

this is great to hear. Not gonna lie I do kinda miss the snarky Leach comments on injuries…can’t remember what his favorite line was but it was classic

He's a personality that not everyone misses.

"Everyone is doing exactly as the coaches have asked" and "Everyone is happy and healthy"

Can understand that for some.

We'll always have his pièce de résistance in giving it to that troll from Spokane. Epic.
I loved Leach. No nonsense, firm but fair, produced results and created much needed respect and excitement for the Football program. Was he quirky, salty and weird. He sure was....all the more reason to love him.
