If he isn’t on campus what sources? Played pretty limited minutes with limited success in high school / AAU. There has got to be more to his story, that we don’t know. You just don’t usually see such hype about players with such low stats, and unfortunately, when you do they usually flop. Holding out high hopes for him but trying to stay a little grounded because of such lofty expectations. I would be happy with a nice reserve/ situational starter that shows potential for him as a freshmen.
There is more to the story. Others, not me, even posted links to the info on this board. Me, others saw, read those links. And no I dont have the links, because zi didnt think that you would either not see, read those links, and that I would be expected to provide those links.
Somebody else can repost that info, links if they wanted to.
The reasons why his stats werent as good, why he didnt get as much playing time, in both HS/AAU, is:
1. He had a BAD INJURY, that tho he recovered well enough to play, atopped him from beating out the starters
2. Those that started in front of him:
A. A 5 star a Top 10 recruit in Nation that went to Oregon.
B. Another 4,5, 4.5 star recruit that was about a Top 20 recruit that went to another college.
3. Altho he has NBA Freakish Athleticism, he was RAW. Those that started ahead of him had less rawness, were nore developed, etc, then him.
4. He was a team player. He could have fought for more minutes, starting time, and might probably have gotten it, but he didnt want to reinjure himself pushing to beat out the starters, playing more minutes then his body could handle post injury, but during his recovery. And hecwas a team player, respectful of the coaches not starting him, etc.
5. Even the backs ups like him were 4,5 stars that were high rated recruits.
6. The rosters he played on were about some of the most about STACKED rosters about in HS, AAU history.
