29th rated recruiting class

That’s a nice bump up to 29th. According to 247 we now have 2 four star recruits and 4 three star recruits thats nothing short of amazing!!! Way to go coach!! Now let’s just hope we have a season to watch...

According to 247 the Cougars are in with the 29th best class in the country. The latest is also a 4-star recruit.
Plus, it is now the third ranked class in the P12 behind only Arizona and Stanford. What an amazing job this staff is doing. They are recruiting better than any staff since Raveling.

What they have done this year and last is incredible. Yes, don't forget about last year where Kent had used up the on campus visits and Smith got several players to commit without visiting campus.

Yep, I knew AJ, would be reevaluated, reranked as a 4 star.

I also knew the class would, should have been reranked from top 50, 6th, to 29th, 3rd in Pac 12.

This class, Smith is better then Raveling, ON PAPER, RATINGS, RANKINGS WISE

Raveling's Guy Williams, Stuart House class was not rated as high as this class. And the Stuart House class was AFTER Raveling's 2nd year. And Raveling's Class had 1, 5 star: (House), 1 4 star: Guy Williams, and the rest 3 stars.

Smith has 4, 4 stars. 4, 4 stars is better then 1, 5 star, 1, 4 star, ON PAPER, RANKINGS, RATINGS wise.

This Smith's Class is BEST IN WSU HISTORY, EVEN GOING BACK 65 TO 85+ YEARS TO JACK FRIEL days.

Its 4, 4 star recruits

1. Dishon: 4 star

2. Rosario: 4 star

3. Jefferson Koulibay: 4 star

4. AJ: 4 star.

Thats according to:

Various RECRUITING SERVICES LIKE

ESPN

VERBAL COMMITS

247

RIVALS

SCOUT

SBNATION

etc.

Now not all of them have some of the players at 4 stars.

ESPN might have recruit A at 4 stars, while Verbal Commits might have recruit A at 3 stars.

But EACH of the 4, 4 stars has AT LEAST 1 OF THE ABOVE NAMED RECRUITING SERVICES RANKING THEM A 4 STAR.

You can just go by 1 of the recruiting services, say 247.

Of course if you only go by 247, then only 2,3, 4 stars, instead of 4, 4 stars.

Also 247 has its 247 ranking which might rank a player 3 stars, while 247 also does it's COMPOSITE RANKINGS(which is a COMPOSITE of ALL the rankings from ALL the above named services.

That's also why the class is ranked 29th, 3rd in Pac 12. If the class only had 2, 4 stars instead of 4, 4 stars, no way would the class be 29th, 3rd in Pac 12, it would be 50th, 6th instead, or lower.

The Class is 3,4, 4 stars. Me AND others have told you this, but you stubbornly keep on wrongly saying 2, 4 stars, instead of 3,4, 4 stars like you should.

But that's ok in a way if you want to be wrong.

But your also stubbornly misleading.

With COVID19 that's 2 straight springs without visits.

Oh that's right, think how much better he Smith might probably recruit even better then this, when he can do campus visits, etc, since this amazing class didnt do, get campus visits for this class's recruits.

Simply outstanding job by Smith and his staff. Someone wrote on Brand X board that it's a good thing Smith didn't settle for filling the last couple of open spots with grad transfers, as at least one outspoken fan wanted. Had Smith done so, we never would've landed Rosario and AJ, both 4-stars. How often does WSU ever get a chance to get even a single 4-star, let alone two of them in this past week? It's likely there will be more opportunities to do so in future seasons with Smith and his staff in place.

Glad Cougar

Don't forget that the staff did bring in players during the season. Off hand, I believe that Koulibaly, Mamba, Abogidi, and Jakimovski had visits during the season. Not sure about Jackson and Rosario.

Still, great job by the staff.

It’s pretty amazing to finish a class that was already really good with 2 4-star players at a position of need given the pending decision of Elleby. I think they would have made space if they had found a grad transfer but we will never know unless it were to actually go down. Anyway, amazing job and talent usually attracts even more talent. Lots of work to do but this staff has totally blown the program up (in a good way) in just over 1 year.

If you are going to use 247 as the barometer from which we are ranked 29th in the country, it stands to reason that’s the standard you should use when discussing the individual players. Not some random babbling internet fool, who sorta, might have, probably did score between 7 and 19 points a game in some church league. And because He did, or might have or at least could have Done all this we should bow down to this “Stable Genius” who is in serious need of more medication!

It's not just me that's saying what I said. It's OTHERS.

Almost everybody else is saying, recognizing that this class has 3,4, 4 stars, not 1,2, 4 stars.

You are in the MINORITY that wrongly says 1,2, 4 stars.

Also the others besides me like 71, etc, are pretty credible, and have posted the facts, links, truth, logic, etc, that rightly says 3,4, 4 stars.

Next, its not just me, others who are saying this.

IT IS ESPN, VERBAL COMMITS, SCOUT, 247, RIVALS, SBNATION, EUROPEAN ESPN EXPERT GIVONY, ETC, THAT ACCORDING TO THEM, AT LEAST ONE OF THE ABOVE RECRUITING SERVICES IS SAYING THAT FOR EACH OF THE 4, 4 STARS, AT LEAST ONE OF THE ABOVE RECRUITING SERVICES ARE SAYING THAT EACH OF THE 4, 4 STARS ARE 4 STARS.

ALL CAPS USED TO EMPHASIZE, HIGHLIGHT, UNDERLINE, GET PAST YOUR LACK OF UNDERSTANDING, COMPREHENSION, STUBBORNESS, ETC.

Recruit A, may have ESPN rating a 4 star, while the rest say 3 star. Recruit B, may have Verbal Commits rate a 4 star, while the rest say 3 star, etc.

I explained all this, but your not getting it.

Also I have seen, read the links to the recruit service ratings myself, and am not just taking others words for it.

And I usually find these links on my Google Homepage, on my Google Chrome Browser.

In particular, I have seen Brand X, Brand Y, Brand XYZ, (REPRESENTING RECRUITING SERVICES LIKE ESPN, VERBAL COMMITS, 247, SCOUT, SBNATION, etc)(I use Brand X, Brand Y, Brand XYZ, etc, instead of the name of the recruiting service, because its considered bad etiquette here to post competitor links, etc, here(Also that has been done and been deleted), I have seen, read articles by Brand X, Brand Y, Brand XYZ, etc, say that:

1. Dishon is a 4 star

2. Rosario is a 4 star

3. AJ is now a 4 star.

4. the only disagreement amongst the recruiting services, is Whether Jefferson Koulibay is a 4 star, as some have as a 3 star, and some have as a 4 star..

These recruiting services are credible. ESPN, Verbal Commits, Scout, Rivals, 247, SBNATION, etc, ARE CREDIBLE.

The other thing to do is to USE LOGIC.

KOULIBAY as Best Canadien Player Recruit, is a 4 star because of that.

85% of the time, Year in, Year out, the Top Canadien player like a KOULIBAY, is USUALLY AT LEAST A 4 STAR.

AJ is the best in Europe, and turned down a PRO CONTRACT. And that is according to ESPN EUROPEAN EXPERT GIVONY(FORGET HIS FIRST NAME)

USUALLY 85% OF THE TIME a Best player, Recruit in ALL OF EUROPE, who TURNS DOWN A PRO CONTRACT, IS USUALLY AT LEAST A 4 STAR.

THAT IS WHY HE HAS BEEN RERANKED FROM A 3 STAR TO A 4 STAR BY THE RECRUITING SERVICES.

Dishon Jackson has been named a 4 star by 247, and pretty much all the recruiting services.

So that's at least 3, 4 stars:

1. Dishon 4 stars

2. Rosario 4 stars(Ranked HIGHER then Dishon who a 4 star accord to 247)

3. AJ 4 stars

and 1 questionable 4 star on whether a 4 star or not:

4. Koulibay, a 4 star by some, 3 star by others, and as the Best of Canada, should be, is a 4 star, and at worst is a 3.5 star, highest ended 3 star, lowest ended 4 star, borderline 3/4 star, 3.5 star.

If you dont want to count Koulibay as a 4 star, that's fine, you can do whatever you want, be as wrong as you want.

And if you dont want to count the other 4 stars, and only count 1,2 4 stars, according to only 1 recruiting service, and not use, recognize them all, again, that's fine, you can do whatever you want, be as Mr Spock would say, ILLOGICAL, as you want, be as wrong as you want, etc, because:

The recruiting services, NEWS, EXPERTS, like ESPN, VERBAL COMMITS, SCOUT, RIVALS, 247, SBNATION, ETC, ESPN EUROPEAN EXPERT GIVONY, BRANDON HUFFMAN, ETC, ARE MORE CREDIBLE THEN YOU, AND I, AND OTHERS WILL TAKE THEIR WORD, NEWS, FACT, TRUTH, LOGIC, ETC, OVER YOU.

Go look it up, read for yourself, etc.

Should be easy to find.

I find that information easily as its on my Google Search homepage, on my Google Chrome homepage.

If you think the class has only 1,2, 4 stars, and that as such it would be ranked 29th, 3rd in the Pac 12, then if you believe that, I got a bridge to sell you.

3,4, 4 stars would be ranked 29th, 3rd in Pac 12, thats why it is ranked 29th, 3rd in Pac 12, because the class DOES HAVE 3,4 STARS.

If the class had only 2, 4 stars in it, it would be rated Top 50, 6th, instead of 29th, 3rd.

2 Examples of this, that.

1. Before AJ was named a official 4 star, the class had 2,3, 4 stars, instead of 3,4, 4 stars, and was rated 50th, 6th in Pac 12. So if the class only has 1,2, 4 stars like you say, it would be ranked 50th, 6th in Pac 12, not 29th, 3rd.

2. Bone had a class with 1,2, 4 stars, in it(Que: 4 stars, Ike 4 stars), it wasnt rated as high as 50th, 6th, let alone 29th, 3rd.

You can take your head out of your butt now.

And let alone 4, 4 stars in a single class.

1. Dishon Jackson: 4 star

2. Rosario: 4 star

3. AJ: 4 star

4. Jefferson Koulibay: 4 star.

I don't know anything about these guys other than what I read.

What is pretty exciting is Abogidi might be the best of them all. Certainly his length and athleticism is off the charts. His FT line dunk was incredible.

After that FT Line Jordanesque Dunk, he Abogidi was scheduled to be fastracked from NBA Academy, to, into NBA G League, and from there into the NBA draft, where he would have gotten drafted.

That is why the OFFICIAL NBA kept on posting, hyping him.

He was a RAW, SHAWN KEMP ESQUE SUPER NBA ATHLETIC FREAK of nature, ATHLETICISM wise.

But he was RAW. that is why he was going to have to go thru the NBA G League to make him NBA READY.

BUT his athleticism, potential, upside as a NBA Prospect was OFF THE CHARTS.

And that's why HE WAS, USED TO BE 4 STARS.

Then he got a SEVERE Injury that lasted 2 years.

That made him a 3 star, set him back.

Officially he is a 3 star. But athleticism, UPSIDE, POTENTIAL WISE, he has more athleticism, speed, quickness, hops, UPSIDE, POTENTIAL, etc, then anybody else in the class, and currently on the team(and yes that includes CJ), As long as he continues to recover from his injury, and as long as he continues to WORK HARD.
