Cade Beresford, McNorton, and Mayginnes enter portal last couple of days.
Beresford hurts as he played a lot of snaps. Appears to be leaving with I assume his brother, Jack Beresford.

ugh...

I just don't get it.

Has anyone told these kids or explained to them that moving is one of the top 5 life events that causes stress? That could explain why most of them never return to their former glory.

Seems strange. Probably just looking for more playing time but you have to wonder if they're not Dickert fans?

Really surprised about Cade. He was starting and doing well.

Ease of transferring plus coaching turnover, this was bound to happen. It is going to happen to every school.

The timing of the early signing date combined with the unknow of the OC, offensive coaches, and philosophy probably is driving a lot of the portal moves. If at least the OC was in place, it might have helped?

Players can always change their mind as well but sucks for the bowl game. Then again better to know now than at semester break (assuming we are in the Sun).

Ugh. The Beresford loss sucks. Who knows why he’s doing it, could be any number of things. Kind of wonder if it ends up being a good football decision for him. He’s a returning starter. Weird.

Also had Beresford penned in along w/Greene (assume he’s returning as he wasn’t honored @ Sr. nite), Kingston, Fifita, and Gomness.
Maybe someone’s getting a Beresford 2-fer as little Bro is gone too.

Mayginnes entered last year. He started at left guard (I believe) all year for Montana.

7 OL taken in last two classes… Now down to 5. The OL is almost 50% of your offense and these dipshits took 7 players in 2 classes to play half the offense.

Imagine taking 7 guys in 2 classes to play WR, RB and QB. And then 2 of them leave. Fuc$ing awful.

This is Dickert’s first class. If he is smart he will sign 25 HS kids and 7 transfers to fill in the holes Turd screwed up. As a newly hired coach, the last thing you want is a roster with holes in it on the frosh and soph end. At some point you will find yourself coaching for a new contract. The last thing you want then is a young team. You want vets that have been in your program for 3-4 years.

Don’t let the door hit them. Not trying to be a dick but if you don’t want to be here so be it. Some players don’t like competition and if you can’t drive yourself to be better and work harder then maybe a smaller school is for you.

Plus, the season isn't over...
I truly believe it is love of being recruited. Day-to-day reality can never match the thrill of recruitment. For a lot (maybe most) of college athletes, Signing Day is the pinnacle, not game day and certainly not senior day.

Truth. A lot of kids see LOI day as the finish line. They do not see it as the starting blocks.
