Four of the 6 in class are Foreign, International Recruits.

1. Rosario: 4 star Dominican Republic

2. AJ: 4 star: Europe

3. Jefferson Koulibay: 3/4, 3.5 star Canada

4. Agobidi: 3 star: Africa.

Only 2 are from USA.

1. Dishon: 4 star.

2. TJ Bamba, 3 star.

Now is Smith probably going to be getting Foreign, International talent like the talent in this class, where most of the recruits are international, like he did with this class?

Or was this class a Outlier, and he Smith recruits more USA recruits, then international?

Or will it be a mix of USA, and international in the future?

And is Smith, an or will Smith be, is the best International, foreign recruiter, WSU has ever had?

Just wondering what others think, and what discussion.

As far as myself, answering my own questions.

Not sure, dont know about the future, but I think that Smith might probably be a awesome international recruiter for WSU in the future.

I think it will be a mix of USA, international.

I think Bennet was a pretty good international recruiter, but not as good as Smith.

Rosario is from the Dominican Republic, but has been living in California. Koulibay had also played in New York before moving back to Canada. Plus, while Canada is not the US, it is as close as a country can be without being the US. So, I don't count those the same as Agobidi and Jakimovski. But, I think that Smith will go anywhere to find talent. He was at St. Mary's where they routinely recruited internationally, especially Australia.

That's what you need to do at WSU. There's a big world out there to recruit if you put in the work which this staff obviously has done. I can't remember the exact quote but Raveling had a good one about finding players wherever they were around the country.

Agreed. Go out and find very good players that want to play at WSU. The quote I always remember from Raveling, and I am paraphrasing because I don't remember the exact words, "The administration told me I was recruiting too many black players. They wanted me to recruit some more whites. So I did, Willie White and Jerome White."

Always loved Raveling and am proud he coached at WSU. He had a great sense of humor.

That's definitely one of the better quotes from a guy who had many.
