Abandoning allies

NY Post? Perhaps you could link a hugely less partisan source.

Your TDS prompts you to continually feel the need to jump to the defense of this terrible human.

Stretch, help me understand how you (a seemingly fundamentally decent human) can support such an indecent human. No choice? Had to? No better candidates?
First, no one on this board needs to justify dick all to you. But if you're really going to spew that kind of nonsense, why don't you go first and justify your vote for the mattress back moron that got installed in a non-democratic fashion as the D candidate after Biden couldn't form answers during the debate.

Second, less partisan like CNN's Jake Tapper publishing a book about Biden's cognitive decline after actively helping to cover it up?

Siding with Russia is just wrong on every level. This Republic was founded on freedom and the rule of law, neither exist in Russia.

It really is that simple. And the question to ask is why? Unfortunately the cultist mindset is to dismiss anything that doesn’t fit the narrative no matter how obvious it appears.

Nerve struck? Umm, are you aware of other news cites besides CNN or msnbc? You have cnn/msnbcDS, clearly.

As for Harris, I've already explained to you the inadequacy of your "non-democratic" argument in the party selecting their nominee. Go back and search the archives to revisit the dismantling of your premise.

Now I will address my vote for her over our current turd of a human president. The main being she accepts the rules that have governed our national election process for 200 or so years and hasn't actively tried to sow distrust or undermine that system. She hasnt attacked and actively tried to undermine or judocial or top law-enforcement agencies. She also isn't a pseudoscience conspiracy nut, nor would she have appointed one to head up our top health agencies.

Obviously you care much less about that stuff. Carry on. Taihtsat

Your explanation was a steaming pile of hypocrisy poo, and reinforced that the D party does not care at all about democracy. But feel free to tell yourself that Nancy Pelosi didn't force Biden out.

Your whining about credibility of media "cites" shows the brainwashing was effective. One of those other sites was cited to you.

You would think that it's that obvious.

This truly is the darkest time in the last 100 years of the United States. The Democrats are a bunch of sniveling pussies that are worried about all the wrong causes. The Republican Party has turned into a bunch of insecure bros that are deluded by a wannabe dictator into accepting the idea that our country should act like a mafia boss and f#ck over the world (and in our own country) in the pursuit of a few extra dollars. And both sides refuse to quit spending money that we don't have as they push their respective agendas.

I think the Great Depression and the first 6 months of WWII were much darker. But that's just my opinion.

It only seemed that to you because of your motivated reasoning. Stop embarrassing yourself. George Clooney was the impetus. I won't deny that democratic leaders put heavy pressure and convinced him to bow out. Good. It was too little too late tho.

If I'm embarrassing myself, what exactly are you doing? Look what you posted- George Clooney runs the D party.

WW3 has probably already started. And our president has aligned himself with the closest thing to the Hitler of our times, Putin. So yeah, it’s pretty dark. Great Depression is tough to top but Trump has failed as magnificently in his own businesses so I wouldn’t put it past him to make a run at it.

There have been difficult times in the past and certainly the Great Depression was more difficult economically. The McCarthy era bullsh!t was also a pretty dark time in our country.

That said, the anger and division in our country is greater than anything I've seen in the 50+ years that I've been here and although it's unlikely to happen, this feels like the closest to an outright Civil War in our country since the last real one. Our status in the world is collapsing and we are abandoning whatever feeble moral high ground that we used to have.

As a Kansan who saw how devastating it is to an economy to gut government spending just for the sake of cutting it, I am deeply worried about the inevitable recession that will be kicking into high gear shortly. Millions of people are going to lose their jobs in the next couple years if Trump and Musk continue with their plans. I fully expect my brother to be dead by the end of next year after he gets cut loose from Medicaid as part of "improving government efficiency". My company has already been told that tens of millions of dollars of work in Texas is going to be canceled.

Tens of millions of 2024 Trump voters are going to be regretting their decision, even if the truth is that Kamala might have been just as much of a Greek tragedy as Trump has been. The bright side for the democrats is that they are almost guaranteed to take over the house and senate in the near future.....if Trump and the GOP hasn't just thrown our whole election process out.

It boggles the mind that 75 million Americans are excited to support a man who is helping Communist Russia ahead of our allies, is willing to commit war crimes in Gaza to make resorts for his wealthy friends, is destroying the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of people to save 2% in government spending while giving his rich friends $4 trillion in tax cuts over the next several years. A man who is willing to destroy public education to promote the interests of private religious schools that will lead to an even steeper decline in the quality of education for most of our country's youth. Of course, if the Democrats didn't suck so bad, we wouldn't be seeing this happen, so it's their own damned fault that we are where we are.

Well, I guess you can blame Biden then.

The recent UN vote(s) condemning Russia - and the US joined Russia and North Korea in voting against it. Axis of evil redux. I think this will kickstart the R's rebelling against Trump. The Trump Gaza video was also unconscionable.
