Ahmed Ali's WSU connection

This all came together so quickly I wondered what all brought it about. Ali had multiple offers and I was surprised WSU appears to have been his only visit. Well, the connection is apparently Faisal Aden and he wanted WSU all along.

Interesting to see Louisville and Oregon State were in the mix as well.

Crazy connection. I was reminded of Faisal Aden (Somali JC transfer who shoots threes). Pretty cool to see him want to come here. We have gotten a lot of kids who have settled for WSU in recent years. This year's JC's seem pretty excited about playing in Pullman.

I always felt bad for Aden. He started his senior year battling injuries and really struggled early. I even heard one fan calling him a cancer on the team. Suddenly puts it together and leads us to back to back wins over Cal and Stanford, only to blow his acl in the very next game

Aden's acl injury was brutal especially when it took place.

If Aden doesn't blow his knee we had a great shot at NIT run again. Even without him and Motum we skmost win CBI
