Arkansas and Missouri have hired their head coaches. Mizzou hired the App. State coach. So, Mike Leach isn't going anywhere for 2020. See you again in November.

Expect the Mississippi State HC position to open up next season if they struggle.

Well with these type hires it is not hard now to see to that Leach must have not only told those schools no but hell no.

If they are having to go down to this level of a no experience stretch hires you have to assume guys like Sark also showed zero interest.

I think Arky asked a successful P5 coach to go from a good program to a grease fire for little pay increase. Bottom line, to get a coach to step into a 4-20 disaster that competes in the sec west, you are going to have to pay them enough money that they cant refuse. Arky couldn't/wouldn't pay. Pittman will probably make 3 million(I think he makes 1 million now), they are hiring on the cheap.

It might work out but its going to take quite a while and they are going to have to pay to get good staff around him. A far cry from what Leach could do.
