Reese is immature and her response (and actions) confirm as much. She's 20 years old, obviously has some "growing" to do. IMO, her comments seem more reactionary than anything else. I doubt she speaks for LSU, Mulkey, or the rest of the team.

Jill Biden isn't 20. She should know better than to speak about something she is obviously a bit ignorant in understanding. I do wonder about one thing Reese said. Would Jill have said the same thing if roles were reversed? I'm not so sure and of course we will never know either way.

Unlike you LC, I'm not calling anyone a "racist hater" (learned my lesson on that one a long time ago). However, this whole thing start to now has seemed a bit one sided. Still haven't seen any retroactive outrage or even criticism that it was Clark who started the whole Cena "you don't see me" sign. I doubt I ever will. Different people, different rules. It's possible if not likely Reece has had to live by a different set of rules than either one of us has ever needed to live by in our (much longer) lives.

Reece hasn't done anything that extreme from what can happen on the men's side. Former Coug Noah yelling "This is my city" after the UW game and JDL planting the flag in UW stadium are a couple Coug moments that come to mind. Never heard a peep either was poor sportsmanship even though it crosses the sportsmanship line IMO. Loved both by the way.

I remember Tia Pressley getting a T for putting her hands up after she was called for a foul. Didn't say a word if I remember correctly. In the presser she said something like that would never happen on the men's side. Long time ago, but I remember thinking that her comment was probably close to spot on.

If roles were reversed and Michelle Obama said to invite LSU, I would have the same feeling as I do with Jill Biden. It was an ignorant comment.

Jill Biden messed up, it’s the everyone gets a trophy mentality. The Iowa player Clark did state that the White House trips are for the champions and it’s LSU’s moment not Iowa’s. So she seemed to handle that with class. Her can’t see me sign in the semi final showed no class, and was wrong. The LSU player showed no class and displayed the signal to Clark’s face more than once, which was also wrong. Two wrongs don’t make it right. It’s not about race, when you win you win with class, when lose you lose with class, LSU team as a whole showed very little. Didn’t show up for the national anthem, and didn’t shake hands after the game, it starts at the top and Kim Mulkey is in charge. Stuff follows her where ever she goes, yes she wins, but there is always controversy surrounding her.

She's not the only person to ever act like this, but how tf can anyone be so angry about winning? Going through life with a chip on your shoulder that big is not going to serve her well, but a week later and there are plenty of people running with the race card and saying she's only behaving as such because of be racially... whatever.
