Yeah if he keeps playing the way he is, he will be a finalist and/or heisman winner with eyes on the NFL. Not saying he is there but he sure is playing like he wants it. And we will need the Cougar Collective to throw some NIL $$ at Mateer as well.

Cam is 9th in QBR in the country. Which gives you an idea of the crazy numbers QBs are putting up this year when he’s over 70% with no INTs and 14 TDs. He won’t win it but he keeps playing this way he will be in the discussion and may get an invite, particularly if the Cougs win 10+ games. The QB talent this year is wild, any other year he’d be top 3 in the country.

Considering most P5 teams have played 3 patsies and 1 conference foe at this point, many of those "crazy numbers QBs" are going to fall back to earth real soon. Let's hope Penis is one of them...

But that won't happen to Cam if he cleans up his game a bit more and sees the $$$ awaiting him. A surprisingly good Coug season, in spite of all the conference BS, will only elevate his draft stock by making him look like a true leader; most pundits can't name one other Coug, so win or lose, it all falls on Cam (fair or not). Let's hope he grabs this by the balls.

This year for QB's is comparable to the famous 83 QB class that produced about 10 to 13 QB's that not only drafted about top 2,3 rounds of draft, but also produced as lots of Hall of famers, etc.

And Cam is about 4,5,6,7 in a QB class comparable to the 83 QB class.

Now not saying this years class is going to do in the NFL what the 83 QB class did, but this QB class has about 13 to 15 to 17 to 19 QB's that probably will be drafted in the first 4,5 rounds of draft.

Cam is projected to go no worse then about early 3 round at worst, and late first round at best, if, assuming he continues to do this the whole season.
