Nate Grimes committed to Fresno State today. Coach Kent was reported to have an in home with his parents on October 1 st. Also the Texas kid Christian James has cut WSU from his list, I thought that was a long shot anyway but I thought we had a very good chance with Grimes.

I would have hoped that Ernie would be in a position to not lose a player to a school like Fresno State. WSU is in the Pac-12 and still losing recruits to programs in lesser conferences. Kent is going to have to win to recruit better players, but he's going to have to recruit better players to win. Tough situation.

That is recruiting. Somehow, i wonder about someone who chortles because Kent lost a recruit? My obvious answer is that we already have a 6'8 recruit who can play either swing guard or forward. We(if that includes you ) will be fortunate to recruit an quality big man and now a PG. It seems like Blackmon is sought by several programs and we will be happy if we land him.Perhaps Kent will still have the in home visit with Grimes's parents. "It aint over till it s over" to quote another old timer. Or" it aint over till the fat lady sings" from another old timer. It seems like we have old timers coming out from everywhere..

Kent's "big man" recruit for 2015 is Robert Franks 6-7 205 Evergreen HS in Vancouver. CEK beat out UP, PSU, and others.

Reported to have a 7-0 wingspan.

Yup i just saw the news. This one is indeed a head scratch-er as he was not impressive when i saw his videos.
