Anyone else see this?

The vast majority of the time, yes. And I'm not quite sure why vaccination should result in the maximum penalty WSU can administer- termination of Rolovich's contract for cause.

Please compare and contrast recruiting violations, hookers and coverups to not getting vaccinated. By the way, CDC just released a study estimating that 83.3 percent of Americans had antibodies before the delta surge. Ole Miss vacated 33 wins by the way.

You're just assuming this.

Was it from your dental hygienist?
Oh I am sure they vacated 33 wins. Yes I am sure people outside of Miss without googling it didn't know or care. How much did those 33 vacated wins cost them?

Yes, bring up the dental hygienist for giving me information that was what 4 hours out of date. Unfortunately she had to work and couldn't surf the net to update her information for me as she was given that info and what to expect by her son who lives in Scotland.

I told her to carry her smart phone and any time she talks about her travels to make sure she googles the latest restrictions.

I don't need to compare the violations.

You keep raising "medical reasons". If Rolo had a legit med reason Chun would have said so and supported his decision. And I would guess and hope if Chun is as smart as I think he is he would have paper trailed either by email or text the reasons rolo gave him for not getting vaxed.
Not if Chun likes his job. He's not allowed to disclose an employee's medical conditions, or the related accommodations, or even to confirm that either exists. All he can say is that someone has or has not complied with the requirement.

WSU human resources expects to send separation notices to employees on Oct. 19 if they haven't complied. Rolo should be treated exactly the same as any janitor, plumber, electrician. If it comes out that he got some kind of special treatment, I won't renew my tickets.

Interesting days ahead for sure.

He can say he has a med reason without saying he has a med reason . How about this … coach Rolo and I have talked at great length and I am firmly behind his reasoning for not getting vaccinated . He doesn’t disclose med reasons but he supports his med reasons .

For someone in a high profile position, PR is part of their job. If he was at all concerned with the image of the program, he could have been, at least a little forthcoming. Instead, he acted coy and dismissive.
Even Ryan Leaf agrees, and he would know.

Bobby Petrino- hires mistress, lies about crashing motorcycle to cover up the affair. Got rehired at the school he bailed from.

Hugh Freeze- All kinds of recruiting violations and hookers. Has/had Liberty in the top 25.

Art Briles- Covered up rapes. Coaching high school.

Steve Sarkisian- raging drunk. Just hired at Texas.

Mike Leach- fired for insubordination after allegations of player abuse. Resurrected WSU, now at Mississippi State.

I’ll even throw Mike Price- went from it’s rollin baby to ring of honor status at UTEP.

How does Rolovich stack up with his “scandal”? Do you really think he wouldn’t end up at group of 5 school somewhere?
He has no significant track record unlike the rest of the guys in your example so unless he rips off at least 8 wins he’s an FCS or D2 coach if he wants to lead a program again.

Hate to break it to you, but no one outside of the WSU fan base will care about a forfeit.

Correct but our forfeit has some pretty hefty financial consequences at a time we can’t afford them

Maybe you should ask your dental hygienist to explain the forfeit rule to you.

Do they still have the same forfeit rules as last year re # of players? I thought those were arbitrary and stupid. If a team wanted to play with low numbers they should have been allowed to. Let the athletes play both ways.

Forfeit rules have reverted to the rules pre COVID. Essentially, if you can’t field a team you forfeit.

Do you really wanna see WSU line up with a left tackle that hasn't had squat for reps at the position because he plays DT? There are some positions that are easier than others to play both ways. And some positions that can lead to serious injury for other players. A WR playing CB may just get burned deep for a touchdown. A DL playing OL could miss a block or assignment and leave Borghi with a torn acl or concussion. So playing both ways may not be the best idea.

So, does this mean you’ve changed your mind on strong and fit and tough all day?
