Saw him tonight and can't find anything on him. He reports a 3.0. Worth a PWO?

It depends on his size and weight. He looks like he has enough athleticism to play an inside LB position

He s from Oregon listed at 5'10 and 195-205 pds He is listed as a 4,71 40 with a 250 BP ,375 squat and a 11.52 100 meters. Most likely a D11 player unless he grows and improves his speed.

Those numbers don't spell Power 5 offer. Agree that he has to grow a little and gain some weight.

The 100 meter time was from his sophomore year. He's 5-10 and all of 210. I don't know where you got those numbers from. He's probably in the 4.6's. Someone might recommend linebacker as well. His d film looks pretty good as well. I saw an explosive RB last night.

I don't believe 4.4 speed, but he's not slow

some of you guys spend too much time looking at NFL combine numbers - These kids are HIGH SCHOOLERS, if they are running in the 4.7 range (electronic) and are 200+ lbs legit, there's plenty of an athleticism/size combo to be a solid Pac 12 player, provided they ARE A GOOD FOOTBALL PLAYER. It's tough to project these kids because they are still developing, but if you are going to say a kid can't make it at WSU because of those two factors alone, you haven't a clue what you are talking about.

Well lets see how many PAC 12 teams recruit this guy. I do not see D 1 ability in his tapes . He needs to grow a bit and maybe he can play LB at the D 1 level

I played tackle football from 7th grade to Sophmore year. I played back up QB, platooned at RB, starting WR, starting Free Safety.

I got injured, took a pounding. So I talked with coaches about quiting. The coaches tried to convince me that I would get bigger, stronger, faster, more resistant to injury, take pounding, and that not only be starter, but had chance to play college ball.

I ran a 4.65 40. I found out, was told that 4.65 or slower was too slow for college ball, pac 12.

So that why I quit. I only wanted to take pounding, risk getting seriously injured if I had a shot at college ball, pac 12.

4.7 is too slow unless a DL, OL, punter, kicker. Too slow for pac 12.

LB might be able tp hack it at 4.7, but most likely wont be fast enough to consistently make the tackle.

There's no question we'd like to get all those guys who run 4.4s and bench 225 a dozen reps, but there are the 4.7 Cooper Kupps out there who work their asses off and do quite well for themselves and their teams. I'm not saying this guy falls into that category, but one never knows.

No one timed him at 4.7. They put 4.7 next to all running backs they haven't tested in a combine. The assign 4.9 to linemen who haven't been in a combine. If there's anything completely unknown is his GPA or if he's taken the classes necessary to qualify. I was just saying in my OP.....that if comes down to Portland State or Montana because he didn't sell himself like a lot of players do....he might make a solid PWO at WSU. That's it.

The reason Cooper Kupp was able to play at EWU as a P5 level, future NFL player, was he was over 6 foot tall, WR skills, route running, size, physicality, etc.

If Cooper Kupp would have only been 5 foot 8 in, 160, a 4.7, 40, while he might have still played at EWU if he had the good WR skills, there would have been no way he would have been a scholarship player at any position at any P5, midmajor FBS, mountain conference school.

And if he would have, he would have been a 5th string, scout teamer, and no way he would have made it to NFL.

The only positions that can get a P5 scholarship where only run 4.7 40 as a short(5'7" to 5'9"), thin(165)stick, wire, is punter, kicker, maybe, iffy,QB(if have strong arm, accurate passer, best QB skills, but still very unlikely),

And unless your RUDY walking on to Notre Dame, your probably not going to be able walk on, preferred walk on, earn scholarship, starter, back up, meaningful contributor, roleplayer, etc, at a P5, mountain conference, FBS, etc, at 5 foot 8, 167, 4.75 40, etc, unless, except as punter, kicker, QB
