It's not like Tennessee is at a major recruiting disadvantage or has had a particularly hard time recruiting, but still, I find these kinds of stories interesting, especially from the perspective of a WSU fan.

Not mentioned in the story: UT's average recruiting class ranking in the last 4 years is #15; every year in the Top 25 and 2 years just outside the Top 10.

WSU's is about #60 with no years inside the Top 50

They may have some neat stories but they're still an elite school with an elite pedigree and elite recruiting classes
