drawing the wrath of the Negative Nancies out there, has anyone seen the April 2 practice recap video? If not, check it out, and look for No. 87 Daniel Lilienthal around the 1:40 mark take a short pass to the house. He's a redshirt senior from Hemet, Ca./Mt. San Jacinto CC. Leach has commented quite favorably about Lilienthal's making a name for himself. With the loss of Galvin, Mayle, and Myers, it's great to see someone step up. Let's hope he keeps it up.

This year I think the key game from a home attendance standpoint will be the road game at Rutgers in week 2.

Assuming we beat PSU at home (I'm guessing maybe 24-25K attendance), then beat Rutgers in NJ, I think you will see more people for Wyoming than might otherwise be expected. If we come in 2-0, I would guess that we will top 30K, with fair student support.

Then if we beat Cal in Berzerkley and don't look too bad losing to Oregon, you will see a packed house for OSU in Pullman.

I think that is probably our optimum start, both from a W/L and attendance standpoint. And the Rutgers game will be pivotal, because the E WA media will take their emotional reporting cue from that game. Win it and we get positive media bounce. Lose and it will be just another year like the last 9. And that positive media bounce, along with a 4-1 record, and fair road attendance by Beavs fans, will just about sell it out.
