How brutal would that be for Oregon to lose yet another coach? And what is the statement that a move like that would make? P12 is a sinking ship, not worth saving? Oregon will never be a blue blood?

I can't see it. Auburn right now is the #3 or #4 job in that division. And with Georgia & UT and Kentucky looking good too, you're struggling to finish top half in the SEC. Total rebuild job, too.

With Oregon joining B10 and ruling the P12 (or at least the division) for the time being, I can't see him moving. He's also a coordinator and I'd think he wants to get some HC years under his belt with a massive talent disparity in a division.

Right now he has a better job, and a better opportunity for success at Oregon. Auburn is not as attractive as it once was. Their last 4 coaches have had a winning percentage of .630-.680, all were fired. Auburn isn’t what it used to be, Saban is half the reason those coaches were fired. You have to win 10 or more games a year and beat Bama.
