bigger picture is this.....there will be football gods and basketball gods....then the rest of us....I predict that many smaller colleges and universities will completely drop football.....its just not worth it....I doubt that uw or oregone fans like this deal any better then the rest of us....they're going to get killed......and there will never be that same old football tradition....nobody is winning except the big, rich boys....
Oregon and UW will get used to it. Their half share will be more than they got at the peak of the Pac-12 deal, and if they do get a full share in 2030, they’ll have more money than ever.
The gloom and doom would be funny if it wasn’t heartbreaking. My daughter goes to the Colorado School of Mines and they have football. If a bunch of nerds can field a team, you can bet that Wazzu can. It’ll be different but it’s still a 100 yard field with the same rules.
