Both games are on right now. Women are down by 16 in the first quarter to Utah. Men are down by 6 in the first half.

I think the men will be fine with the short OSU bench but the women could be in trouble. They don’t want to give the committee any reason to bounce the.

The center from Utah just went down, and it does not look good. I think we all hate to see that. I hope she can play. But, if not, since Utah played yesterday, with a shorter bench now, they may tire in the fourth quarter.

Jackson got absolutely hammered going for the dunk with no call.

The Cougar women look like they are the team that played yesterday. They look slow and disorganized.

Utah's a good team and just came out on fire. We just allowed too many looks. No Ula tonight as well although Wallack had a really nice game. Other than Bella we really couldn't get nearly enough from others.

We should still be in but obviously a loss like this one does not help.

We definitely caught Utah on a hot night. They were insane from the 3-point line in the first half. We are not built to come from behind, and a lot of really good shots didn't drop. Bella was the real bright spot- the best I've seen her play in a big game. Hopefully we are in, but it is a little troubling how some teams are able to really shut down Charlisse, and how little offense we have if the L-W sisters don't combine for 30ish points.

Tough loss for the women. Third in Pac should get them in. Nice to sweep OSU, but how in hell they are 3-26, 1-18 beats me. I hadn't seen them play until Monday but they're a much better team than their record shows.

Only got to see the first half (game started at 10:15 pm back here in the Midwest). It appears the Beavers haven't necessarily mailed it in despite their record. Either that or the Cougars didn't really play that well in the two OSU games. Hard for me to tell based on what I saw. I will say that the WSU defense has slipped this past week. OSU seemed to get off a lot of shots they like and were able to dribble drive into the key....beating our guards off the dribble. Thank goodness Efe came off the bench to block 5 shots. Huge game for Bamba. I'd personally rather see him start over Roberts. At least WSU is guaranteed a winning season this year, even if it feels like they somewhat underachieved. Maybe they'll finally put together a string of complete games in the conference tournament.

Glad Cougar

I think the Beavs have been playing better ball lately when they could have mailed it in. They took USC to overtime and played us tough in the two games. I wouldn’t be surprised if they beat the huskies tomorrow which would be nice.

Only trouble with that is the Huskies are playing much better as well. That center of theirs is starting to play like an all-leaguer.

If we beat Oregon(I know a bit if) and the Huskies beat OSU we would end up in a 3 way tie for 5th. The Ducks will win any tie breaker because they beat UCLA twice. What I can't figure out is the tie breaker with us and UW. Every thing I look at looks tied. Anybody given this a closer look? I'm not sure it matters that much since the choice between 6th and 7th doesn't seem that different and who they would play assuming a first round win would depend upon who wins the UCLA v. USC game since that game is for 2nd.

The next two tie breakers seem to be "serial killers" and "sociopath state governors" and the UW seems to beat WSU in both of those.
