OK wait a minute. I have not been to Beasley in quite a few years. Do they sell booze in there now?

They’ve had a beer garden off and on the last few years but you had to stay in a confined area on the concourse. Looks like it’s open to all seating except for the student section. I’m guessing really long lines tonight.

40 years ago got lit on cheap wine in Beasley. Top row. Security too lazy to walk all that way.

Not sure if I’ve recovered enough from that night to tie one on at a basketball game yet. MD 20/20 left a mark.

I really don’t see a downside. People are either gonna pay $8-10 to drink a beer at the stadium, leave the game early to drink or not come at all because they can’t, or be indifferent to beer being available and not drink.

Give people options. I’m more of a prefunk guy myself because I’m frugal and hate spending a 10X markup on anything. I’ll also stay the entire game no matter what because I can wait 4 hours, 2 1/2 for bball, to get another drink.
