Belotti at halftime.

Is he on the Duck radio cast?

No idea, but did you watch the game on Fox? He's a regular on Fox College football. His rant was during the halftime analysis.

If this game was on the Pac-12 network, I'm sure we would have seen a similar reaction from Nick Aliotti during their halftime analysis.

I flipped over to Nick and he wasn't happy.

I mean, how many times yesterday did we have to hear about them being bigger, better, more talented athletes?

I read sooo much crap on duck message boards and then hearing it from belloti and allioti it occurred to me that when they say that they're basically saying that their coaching sucks and that Wazzu has a better TEAM.
They're showing their ignorance of the fact that football is much more than a kids height, talent and 40 time. It's about desire, emotion and making individual plays. Its about knowing your assignment and being in the right place at the right time, knowing that you may not score the touchdown or make the tackle but that without you the other players couldn't.

Im not surprised at their entitlement. UO pours money into facilities. They show off well to recruits looking for a life style of luxury. On paper they have made all the right moves. Their problem isnt hardware. Their problem is software. Theyve hired the wrong head coaches.

After watching their opening series on offense, I have no reason to believe Mario will be there long.

he's trying to turn them into a physical power team, like alabama. probably not going to work. They made him head coach to salvage last years recruiting class after taggert left so I agree he won't be there long

Allioti was quite effusive in his praise of WSU, says he believes they're playing like the best team in the Pac-12.
More than anything, he believes in running the ball. So, he has had a hard time getting over his long held belief. But, I have to give it to him, he has the Cougars rated as the best team in the conference now.

That was Dave Wannstedt. Not Bellotti.

Mustache confusion.

THIS
what in the hell is wrong with the people in this thread ...... Wannie as we call him in the midwest works the FOX studio gig. Bellotti used to work with the ESPN studio guys, back a few years ago.

I think Wannie was just ranting more as a reaction to the fact the high powered Ducks had 3 first downs and like 40 yds total at the Half.
He is not really a duck homer, as he is a Pitt guy. But he was likely ranting and placating the duck PAC fans, many of whom were in a state of shock at halftime.
Overall, not a big deal...

Lol, the mustache got me too.

Whoops...sorry Mike.
I was confused where Bellotti was talking the game. I watched the entire studio pick Oregon pregame starting with Robert Smith jokingly pick WSU to win their fourth in a row over the Duck's and then saying he was picking Oregon. I went back to the DVR this morning and they all looked in shock at halftime. Smith and Leinart started it off by basically getting all the WSU highlights. Wannstedt even commented that he was left to talk about Oregon. I thought it was hilarious.

Well my apologies!
We don't see much of wannie out here on the left coast and his reaction was spot on to something belotti would have said.
Please forgive me!
