Bennie Boatwright

This kid is a four star if my memory is correct. He is the type of player, that Kent needs to be able to recruit. Kent can offer immediate playing time in a fast paced offense in PAC 12 play. I say that the cougs have a good chance with him.

Well you're right up to a point. Beating out UW and Gonzaga will be tough. Listen to the webcast.

Agreed, but I would take Pullman as a place to go to school. Depends what the young man is interested in doing.

I listened and the cougs have a shot at it. The radio guy sounded like he is a recruiter for udub. The cougs have to field a fairly good team next year for them to be able to recruit players like this.Boarwright in growing to 6'9 215 is ready for a monster season. He sounds like a good kid and the true college campus of WSU and good coaching may appeal to him and his dad. It will be a tough fight but Kent eventually has to win a few to make the cougs into a good team.

I just watched my first video of this kid. He can truly be a" one and done" type of player. He was listed as 6'7 but now is 6'9 -215 pds. I will guess that he spends 2 years in school and turns pro. His father is no dummy and will want his son to mature and work on his game before turning pro. I think that it will be a PAC 12 school which lands this kid.He will be a special player just need to work on his strength and rebounding a bit.One can hope and dream that Kent can land him but all the big schools including Kentucky , Arizona ,UCLA,Louisville etc will be hot after him .

Does anyone know how his visit went?. The cougs have a chance (not great) of landing this kid. He will stay on the West Coast but all the PAC 12 teams are after him. He is a great shooter and has been well schooled by his father.

He was really loving CU in the early going but we've seemed to have fallen out of favor with him lately. Not sure who leads for him now, but awesome that you guys got a visit. Good luck on landing him.
