Falk just started to get nervous and put his eyes on the rush instead of finding the open man. He has Jeff Tuel syndrome. Too afraid to make a mistake too focused on trying to be perfect.

It's something that he can grow out of for sure. Remember he is a RS Soph.

Well those last two offensive plays might be telling.
Great screen call with 3 blockers but they didn't get the gain you would think they could get. Short by 3 yards and then a touch sideline pass on 4th and 3.
I'd rather see Falk launch it deep on 4th and 3 then a tough out pass. Cougs had some success with going deep on 4th down last year if I recall.
I don't know if the Coug Defense will hold off Rutgers the rest of the way.

and here we go beating ourselves. Great sack on second down and we commit a face mask... then another... just giving them yards. And we are sooooooo slow on the outside. And Falk looked flustered the last drive.
