Man, you need a scorecard for all these new teams (Pac traitors plus other recent additions and subtractions).

For the traitors, this doesn't look too bad logistically. West Virginia and UCF are really the only big treks. Colorado has it pretty good with their central location. Their travel might be better. WSU, OSU, OU and the mutts were not a five minute trip.

AZ and ASU a bit of the same, with Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas not far away. Utah gets off the worst.

All the more reason to make the MW our solution. And where the F is information on the Pac-12 assets, etc? This doesn't have to take so long. We need to get Quackkoff out of there. NOW.

What I saw when I looked at the schedule was that the Big 12 is kind of a trash conference next year. Utah should be the prohibitive favorite to win that league. The newcomers to that league proved to be pretty mediocre and not ready to play big boy football and there are a lot of easy wins on the traitors' schedules. Sanders should quit if he can't get the Buffs to 7 wins next year.

Sure nice for every team to get not just one, but TWO bye weeks.

Schools like Utah, ASU and UA will quickly realize no one on the west coast gives a shit about the Big-12.

Utah is going to suffer from lack of west coast exposure more than any of the former Pac-12 schools. On paper, which of these games actually look interesting to watch? Maybe Utah vs. OK St. Close the season with that big rivalry at UCF?

Utah Utes

Week 1: Aug. 29 vs. Southern Utah
Week 2: Sept. 7 vs. Baylor
Week 3: Sept. 14 at Utah State
Week 4: Sept. 21 at Oklahoma State
Week 5: Sept. 28 vs. Arizona
Week 6: BYE
Week 7: Oct. 11 or 12 at Arizona State
Week 8: Oct. 19 vs. TCU
Week 9: Oct. 26 at Houston
Week 10: BYE
Week 11: Nov. 9 vs. BYU
Week 12: Nov. 16 at Colorado
Week 13: Nov. 23 vs. Iowa State
Week 14: Nov. 29 at UCF

Utah's recruiting will require that they swap Texas for California in terms of effort. As noted above, interest in Utah on the west will slip once they move to B12. Might be a lot of effort for them to make that work...
