Wazzu hoops lands coveted recruit from Nigeria
Rueben Chinyelu, a 6-foot-11 center from the NBA Academy Africa in Senegal, told ESPN that he has committed to Washington State.
Amazed at what Smith and coaches have done on recruiting.
Now if only he could recruit a great point guard. Kind of an important position Mr Smith...

Just thinking....prior to technology, (or the internet)....international "letter of intents" was much more challenging, from a recruiting perspective, for sure.

The only thing Time will extremely likely tell, is that as long as he doesn't get injured badly, permanently, an or piss his on paper potential, upside down toilet, he is pretty much a EXTREMELY LIKELY ON PAPER NBA LOTTERY PICK, as he is higher rated, played, dominated at a higher level, then Efe Abogidi,(G League)(Gueye(was projected as a NBA Lottery pick, by NBADRAFTROOM, currently projected 2nd round), Diongue, Jaki(Turned down Pro, money contract), STUART HOUSE, KLAY, etc, did as recruits, before they were recruited)
Also Josh Giddy and others who also were ranked as one of the best most coveted recruits, like Chinyelu, out of the NBA Academy system, have been top 7 NBA Lottery Picks

Getting Chinyelu, combined with all the others Smith has got, has pushed Smith ahead of Raveling and Romar, and has proved that WSU Bball has arrived recruiting wise, is a force to be reckoned with, recruiting wise, and that you can recruit at WSU.
And with recruiting at this awesome, fantastic, amazing level, and with Smith's wife being from Washington, and his family being here, and how much he loves WSU, etc, he is likely to be a MARK FEW TYPE, as far as staying at WSU for about 9 to 18 years.
Also Smith has recruited PG'S, in Powell(12 assist), Dylan, Just recruited, got a 6-2 PG, Rice(Not Smith's fault he got cancer), Houinsou, the French player.
Now if Smith could just get luckier in the injury department.

BILL MOORE in the Twitter feed above is a MORON who thinks Smith should be fired for almost whole frontcourt being out, and for Smith having to replace almost the whole team, that lost to PVAM shooting 57% from 3 point, because didn't have frontcourt.
