Bit of good news for a guy that paid his dues

Even though I've been critical of Leach's attitude at times, it's obvious that he develops a great rapport with his quarterbacks......and he shows loyalty to guys that played for him. He brought a few Texas Tech guys to Pullman to try to help them jump start coaching careers and it's good to see him doing that for Tinsley.

Good to see that Tinsley is getting to do something like this.

Leach is a great players coach, imo. The fact that his methods aren’t aligned with today’s softer, progressive messaging rubs people the wrong way.

He’s a throwback coach. He runs a soft offense, but he’s an extremely tough, disciplined coach. Players are to work hard, go to class, dedicate themselves to the football team, and stay out of trouble. He’s in charge, and he doesn’t pretend otherwise. He also doesn’t pretend to like people. The fact that he’s politically conservative is something that he’s judged negatively for, which is really unfortunate.

I’d have no problem sending my boys to play for a coach like Leach.
