Not sure about that. Macintosh is very effective also. I hate bagging on Borghi but he’s still seeing the field like crap. The screen he got on 3rd down where he had a wave of linemen to his left and he went right into three white shirts was bad. It’s been said before but DM is your best back right now. I’m not saying bench Borghi but I wouldn’t give him 30 carries right now.
17 carries, 89 yards, over 5 yards per carry, see’s the field like crap. Uh no.
DM is not the best back right now. He is a good player. He is not better than Max. MB is a home run threat from anywhere, any time. He can run, catch and pass protect. Whatever you need from MB he can do. DM is not the same talent and does not have the same skill set. Good player? Yes. Better than Max? Nope.
McIntosh on crutches in the second half. We'll be seeing more carries for Borghi vs. BYU and perhaps beyond.
By the way, that was some kind of determined run by Max for the winning TD. Really had zero blocking but spun and powered his way into the endzone. Loved it.

That sucks. I saw the play he did something to his foot, it was a run right off tackle and he went down awkwardly was favoring it when he got up. Actually had a run up the middle on the next play. I hope it’s just a foot sprain, he’s an outstanding back in this offense and that’s a tough loss.
Yeah, I saw him go off too. Purely speculative, but from the way he limped I was thinking foot more than ankle/knee. Didn’t look like he was having a hard time putting weight on the leg, but was taking a shortened step (if that makes any sense).
From what I understand he can’t pass block. I was super excited to see him too when he was recruited but they just can’t afford to have a guy out there who misses a block that gets DeLaura sent to the tent.
Would think he’d be a kick returner at a minimum if he has talent but isn’t a pass blocker.
This is fantastic. The press is dreck. You should hear the local radio hacks when a coach or gm gets salty - they whine like little babies, demanding professionalism. Apparently the irony of that is lost on them.
His exemption request may not have been processed yet. Sounded like there was a backlog. Since they are blind it’s not as though they can bump it to the front of the line. In that scenario I believe he cannot work until it is processed, approved, and accommodations granted.
so now applicants are being held accountable for the lack of resources of the reviewers? cool.
Exemptions were supposed to be requested - and all documentation provided - by October 4. Many were not. That's the biggest problem
Everyone I know who submitted by Oct 4 got their response already. The ones who decided to be cute and wait until Friday will be spending time at home without pay this week. And it’s their own fault.
