Pretty good article (for a change) from Jon Wilner on our bowl prospects. Looks like Holiday (so root for ASU to win this weekend) or the LV Bowl. Either is OK IMHO. Last years' payouts were 6.5m Holiday and 2.9M LV, so obviously the Holiday is more attractive.
TV - Cougs did OK ratings-wise for the Wyoming game, given the competition in our time slot (mutts/Oregon in particular, but others as well). Memphis/Tulane did quite a bit better but were alone in their Thursday time slot.

And yes, another rant about expansion. The only thing I've seen is an indication that our media deal might be worked out in the Spring. Too late IMHO. The CW has the info it needs. Oh except who will be in our league? Of course, after being beat by two MW bottom dwellers, perhaps it is time to resurrect the reverse merger with the MW. Or get off our asses and invite TV market #20 Sac St. so they can get going on recruitment and portal transfers and their new stadium and the transition to the FBS. Or continue to sit on our asses sipping Coors Light and let the MW snatch them up.
