The dude must be shifting through old notes and letters of Kent in planning his recruiting efforts. One or two seasons in Pullman than a transfer to a D11 school.

Looks like he accepted Kent's PWO offer back in February. Smith simply reaffirmed that he was welcome to the program.

Glad Cougar

I don't think you would ever turn down a 6-10 kid who wants to walk on. His talent level (now) is probably more suited to the NAIA schools that he was being recruited by. Evidently one of his main reasons for coming to WSU is to study architecture which would normally not be available at a small school.

Good point and its close to home. Rebounders are always welcome and some turn out like Josh Hawkinson a double-double machine.

Who knows ? perhaps if p[ayers keep leaving he may end up starting next year?
He may, and maybe we drop a spot to 12th. Don’t we lose our best from an 11th place finish ?

I am not on the b-ball board all that often, has Kent been mistreated ?

The murph dog just requested out and Jourdan may have to suit up. He has probably gained some weight from his playing days and they may stick him at the power forward position?

Wanted Murphy but it is what it is. New coach will bring in new players that’s how it works.

There’s only one ‘Dog’ and it’s not Murph Dawg, it’s Andy ‘Nard Dog’ Bernard. Who can resist the A Cappella group, ‘Here Comes Treble’

I do find it interesting that so many are praising getting the Chatfield kid which is a good get for a PWO. But I had heard he committed to EK back in Jan and no one seemed to be all that pumped about it? let alone there wasn't a tweet from Theo Lawson about it. lol if not mistaken this was another find by our former recruiting coordinator Elwyn Mcroy.

Are you ‘pumped’ having him mentored by Ernie?

If I recall, nothing was announced, and none of us knew. Regardless, folks are simply saying he's a good looking PWO, and not much more than that.

There is actually some activity on this bball forum and some sense of optimism with the coaching change. That is the real difference with the above news.

Theo was probably upset that the Clearwater Tribune aced him. He also wasn't all over today's visit from the Aussie
