Brian Greene in the protal

So, he doesn't like the new staff/OL coach. So he bails.

This one is a real head scratcher.
Sounds like the offensive side of the ball didn't like what happened to Rolo. I think there was probably some truth they were going to boycott a game when it happened. Or. thought about it. Sounds like they chose to do what was best for them, which is to continue to play.

I will be interested to see where Greene ends up.

Just a guess, but losing Stutzman may have hurt worse. If the guy could coach de Laura, he has skills.

Damn this is going to be as big of a rebuild on the OLine as there’s been in quite some time.

What? So many people here have said no big deal.

So, we've got Kingston and Fifta playing somewhere, and Gomness at C.

Brock Dieu is a beast and will play one of the Guard positions. Jermias Tafia got some good press in the Spring from the coaches/players at the Center position. Rod Tialavea was neck and neck with Cade during the Spring, he will more than likely be in the OL rotation. We are no doubt razor thin, hoping C. Hillborn isn't too traumatized from his Sun Bowl roller skating debacle. We will need him at some point next year, hoping he gets stronger and gets his confidence up.

Good to hear. Young bucks gonna need to grow up in a hurry. Abe thinks Hillborne is going to be good so I’ll buy that he improves greatly once the ball is kicked off next year.

I am sure McGuire has a plan, by the way as long as Green has been here, did he play for McGuire before? If so interesting

Better now than later don’t let the door hit you. I’m so done with this Transfer portal. It has FKD college football. Don’t want to be here have fun finding a new home.

Sorta feels like some kids are just doing it for the F of it now. Like it’s the cool thing to do. Suppose you can always come back if you don’t find a home you like. Maybe they just loved being recruited so much coming out of HS they need that fix again. It’s bizarre to see.

I have no prob with Dickert telling kids once you enter the portal the WSU door closes behind you.

Until the NCAA steps in and slaps the wrists of the coaches bailing for massive paydays, gets their own house in order with regards to salary caps, revenue sharing and CAPEX limitation, I can't really blame the kids for looking out for #1.

It's the same nonsense as when playing for the neighborhood high school got thrown by the wayside. There's value in going to war with your buddies, fighting through adversity and building life long memories -good or bad. However, that's not the culture these days. Get yours at all costs is the new mantra. Not happy about it but that's the reality.

Being locked down in Pullman the last two years had to have been difficult. Tasty waves and a cool buzz probably has a certain appeal.

No doubt when Nick was booted from his flight he was heading over to the Australian and Hawaiian internationals, and then him and Mick were going to wing on over to London and jam with the Stones!
