And some think Rolo got railroaded for political points and virtue signaling from an admin. that was afraid of the optics. Nobody is wishing Rolo gets his job back, but there is something to be said for giving any head coach a couple years to remove all doubt about bringing the program down. Hoping the best for Dickert but he’s still not out of the woods yet, that was any ugly win and Wisconsin did a lot to insure Cougs pulled it out.
My man. We’re 2 games into the season with 1 ugly win and 1 pretty win. No invite to the playoffs yet. Let it breathe.
Honestly wasn’t trying to make this political. Anything but…I don’t care about the non football stuff. Point is Dickert has proven his worth as a head coach now over and over. If you want Rolo to win his lawsuits fine. But FFS let’s all jump on the Dickert train and enjoy the ride, this dudes a helluva leader and the Cougs are in a good spot with him as HC. I’m still not sure about Morris/Ward but I know we’ve got a shot every time Dickert puts the headset on and if Morris isn’t the right guy for the O he will find the right guy.

Yep. I hope that Kaligis and Cooper in particular are around for a long time. They're probably my two favorites to watch as they lead their respective players in practices, and they've got the D-line and Edges playing extremely well.
Wiscy would count as an ugly win too. Significantly outgained, crazy turnovers, missed FG, B1G refs actually calling holds.

My only point on Rolo is our rather dumb, insecure, tyrant governor forced this issue with a bad mandate that wasn't even effective as advertised (you won't get covid with this jab!)
Remember, Rolo hired Dickert. Give him some credit for that.
Other than that, I've liked Dickert from the start (note past posts) and never blamed Chun or anyone else for the Rolo situation. I like it when people stand on principle despite $$$. There aren't many folks who do that.
