The cougs annihilated the mutts doing what the football team could not do The cougs fell behind 40-33 to the awesome mutts. Then with brilliant half time adjustments by Coach Kent the cougs outscored the mutts 46-34 in the second half to prevail in a hard fought victory 79-74. Awesome ! Enjoy it for who knows how many more there will be? Hyperbole for sure but no worse than the self assembled panel of "experts" who kick Coach Kent when he is down A surprise s? sure, and Romars hot seat is sizzling right now

A nice effort I liked that Pollard had 2 pts and 3 rbs in 10 minutes of action. It was indeed a team effort as many contributed to the win
Flynn demonstrated what a good point guard can do for a team. For the first time in quite awhile, I actually enjoyed a Cougar men's basketball game. Keep in mind, however, that UW is one of the worst defensive teams around.
I was unaware that Flynn's brother-in-law is Jeshua Anderson. That is an interesting Coug connection.
Bit of a shooting drill early but lots of good decisions tonight. Only 10 turnovers for the game with Ike commtting 6 on his own and they went 17-21 from the line. Instead of taking any available open shot we worked to get better shots for the right guy most of the game. Finished on a 12-3 run on the road.
They aren't good but one of the few teams we can play with because they are so flawed. Hopefully they can keep up the good play. A really good effort.
The guy guarding Flynn was highly touted, He needs to learn that one plays defense with their feet. He laid back waiting for the block and Flynn took him to the hoop.It was a solid team win . Romar is in trouble and his great recruiting has not helped him. I hope the cougs can win a few more conference games. However,this was a big win and they can enjoy it. Flynn did a great job of feeding the Hawk.Pollard like ,i expected,gives solid and defensive effort and will improve.
