Brutal week for Oregon

Following the loss to Stanford, the Ducks announced that star RB CJ Verdell and starting safety Bennett Williams (who has 4 INTs this season) have been lost for the season.

Not a Duck fan, but also not a fan of injuries.

After reading (I think) that Furd has beaten Oregon 3 of the last 4 times in Palo Alto when Oregon was ranked in the Top 10, I'm starting to believe Stanford is just an undercover SEC team.

They try to play SEC-style football, they recruit [smart] SEC-looking players, they're kryptonite for Oregon's westcoast uptempo trickery, and everything they do is designed to behead the presumed P12 leaders (before promptly sh--ing the bed in their own bowl game).
