This weekend's scheduled 3-game series vs. Seattle Univ. has been moved to Pullman due to forecasted inclement weather in Seattle this weekend.

Here is the full release from WSU (does not say if fans are allowed to attend the games):

"Washington State’s three-game series with Seattle University, originally scheduled to played in Seattle, will now be played at Bailey-Brayton Field in Pullman due to impending inclement weather forecasted in the Seattle area for this weekend. Friday’s opener is scheduled for a 3:05 p.m. first pitch while Saturday is scheduled for a 2:05 p.m. start and Sunday’s finale set for 12:05 p.m. The Cougars enter the week 7-1 after a four-game series sweep at Dixie State and Seattle U enters the week 4-3 overall after splitting a four-game series at Oregon last weekend."

It was probably scheduled for Bannerwood which is in Bellevue and is a "decent" HS field upgraded (dugout lids finally) so Seattle U. could use it. (But definitely not a D-I field)

If only was there a baseball field with a roof actually in the city of Seattle......

It was scheduled for Bannerwood and pleased to see a home series. Cougs are returning to Seatte the following weekend to play SU and uw in non-conference games @ husky ballpark.

They still play at the old Factoria park huh

Was planning on hitting Bannerwood Park to see if they'd let visitors in, or watch an inning or two through the fence.

What's interesting, (as noted above), that we also play SU at Husky Ballpark, in a series including UW. Was going to enjoy, "The COUGS are in town", but looks like we need to wait until the UW series.

BTW, doesn't our new field look great? Pretty shocking contrast when the LA or Bay Area schools, including UW Seattle comes to Pullman, looks around and does not see on single tent.

No Drug Lords, Heroine Addicts or Meth Heads. Just a pristine Palouse college town. It's got to be a cultural shock, when you're coming up from LA.
