So we have a bye week so here are some of the games on the schedule next saturday and which team I am rooting for.
The Meteor Bowl -
UW @ Oregon - Team I am rooting for. Oregon - Obvious reasons because it is UW, but an Oregon win helps us in the Pac 12 North, and also Husky tears are the best tears.
Colorado @ USC - Team I am rooting for. Colorado. Colorado is off to an impressive 5-0 start, and while a Colorado victory might make our loss to USC look worse we do play Colorado later this year so we can recoup any loss perception by beating them. USC has one of the longest home winning streaks in the conference so Colorado breaking theirs would be nice to move ours up the rankings.
The only teams with a longer home win streak are Alabama, UW, Clemson so a USC loss would move us up to #4 in the current streak rankings.
Stanford @ ASU - Team I am rooting for ASU - Because another loss for Stanford hurts their contention for the Pac-12 North.
Cal vs UCLA - Cal. Seeing Chip Kelly lose more at UCLA is fun. Plus Cal is not a real contender to take the Pac 12 North with an 0-2 record. It would be nice to see them get a win and continue the powder puff blue losing streak.
Arizona @ Utah - Utah. Seeing Utah win will help boost our perception even if against a mediocre Arizona team. also the more Sumlin loses the less competitive they are for recruiting battles against us since they run a similar sort of offense.
Other random games that are of random importance.
NC State @ Clemson - Rooting for NC State to break Clemson's home winning streak so we move up in the rankings.
Mizzou @ Alabama - Rooting for MIzzou to break Alabama's home winning streak.
San Jose State @ Army - SJ State - Helps boost our perception (although honestly it doesn't) Breaks Army's home winning streak that is tied with ours.
