I'll go ahead a beat a dead horse - zero information on the WSU site about getting tickets, not to Provo or MSG.

Go to BYU's site, its right on the splash page with a big fcking NIT logo.

I get that we probably don't sell the tickets ourselves (maybe we do, maybe we get an allotment, but I don't know), but why wouldn't you put ANY information leading your fans to go watch their team in a city that is drivable for most in the northwest?

We have seemingly always struggled in this area. Part of it is likely resources but c'mon.

BYU game March 23rd on ESPN2 @ 6pm west coast time.

I'm not an expert on the NIT, but my understanding is that it is literally a home game for the home team, with some of the revenues going to the NIT. Its not like a bowl game. Not sure why WSU would try and sell tickets...

Not a home game, not much for WSU to market, hopefully they have a website ready to plug in if we are fortunate enough to beat BYU. BYU is tough at home, and did beat the Zags at home this year, for the Cougs to win, need solid defense, dominance from bigs, take care of the ball, and some timely 3's, and we have a decent shot. Hopefully Jackson and Gaye are healthy. Saw this article which I found interesting, would have thought this would have happened a long time ago.

Exactly

BYU is kinda like WSU, but a slightly better version, in that that they are kinda like a Dr Jeckl, mr Hyde type team that beats good teams, plays good, then turns around and plays semi bad, loses to semi bad to average teams.

The only difference between BYU and WSU is that they beat a top team, top conference team in Gonzaga, while WSU only almost beat USC, and only beat Oregon, and BYU didn't lose to teams as bad as EWU, ASU.

So that's the reason why BYU didn't make NCAA: They didn't beat enough good teams like Gonzaga, and lost to many games to semi above average teams like Santa Clara, etc, semi somewhat similar to WSU.

Also BYU is in the WCC where they play more weaker teams, and beat up on weaker teams in conference play then WSU.

If BYU were in Pac 12, instead of WCC, BYU would have had about 12,13,14+ losses.

Also in conference play, teams like BYU, ASU, UPSET, beat teams like UCLA, Gonzaga.

If those teams weren't in the same conference, and those games happened in non con, I don't think BYU, ASU would have upset, won, beat Gonzaga, UCLA.

And I think the only reasons ASU, BYU upset, won, beat Gonzaga, UCLA, is probably because Gonzaga, UCLA, played their worst games of the season while BYU, ASU played their best game of season.

So just because ASU, BYU beat Gonzaga, UCLA, doesn't make them better teams then WSU.

Also BYU finished lower in the standings then Santa Clara that WSU DESTROYED in the NIT, which is tougher then conference games.

Also WSU has won the last 5 out of 7, and has made good runs, in the Pac 12 tourny, and in NIT, and is doing really well.

Also WSU BEAT #1 seed SMU BY 12, ON THE ROAD and SMU probably should have been in NCAA, is BETTER THEN BYU, HASN'T LOST A HOME GAME IN OVER A YEAR.

I think WSU is the better team right now, and that if WSU were playing at home, that there would be about a 50 to 67% chance that WSU would win.

I think WSU has about a 49% chance to win vs BYU on the road. And to win they need to keep on doing well and they will win vs BYU.

BYU is overrated, and overhyped. And too many people, WSU fans, etc, wrongly don't give WSU, hardly any chance, or LOW chance. vs BYU.

If other fans at places like Santa Clara, etc, we're WSU fans, they would think WSU would either have about 50/50 vs BYU or say I think or hope that WSU will beat BYU.

They would NOT say things like A GIANT IF WSU DOES X, THEY GIANT MIGHT THEORETICALLY MAYBE WIN, UPSET BYU.

EDIT: I made this post before I saw that that BYU didn't beat GONZAGA. I thought they did, because I assumed, when a person said that BYU did beat Gonzaga, that it was probably true.

Also other post pointed out how BYU has injuries, how top teams have consistently best BYU, how teams like St Mary's and Santa Clara(that WSU beat), have beat BYU, and how WSU is actually favored by 1(Assume that's true, what somebody said about that)
