They lost most of their size. Start Lucas 6-1, George 6-6, Barcello 6-2, Lohner 6-8, Traore 6-6 254. Two more 6-5 players got 20 minutes. One of those was Knell who shoots the 3 ball. George is also very good on the 3 ball.

They shot really well against Northern Iowa and had a smallish crowd for them of nearly 8,000. Place is a great venue.

Same game play, pound it inside and guard the 3-ball.

The ESPN announcers in 1 of the most recent NIT games, said that they are picking WSU over BYU.

Vegas doesn't know as much as the experts that are picking WSU. Vegas is going by the historical, overrated, overhyped tradition of BYU, plus favoring the home team.

Vegas is not considering things like how BYU, like WSU has lost to weaker teams, and has lost to teams that WSU DESTROYED, and that WSU is 5 of last 7, has made runs in Pac 12 tourney, NIT, DESTROYED Santa Clara, beat #1 seed SMU that better then BYU, and that hadn't lost a home game in over a year until WSU beat them on the Road, by 12 points. And Vegas is not accounting for BYU injuries.

And Vegas is saying BYU by 3, because they want more even betting on both BYU, WSU.

BYU should not be favored. Either should be 50/50 or WSU slightly favored. And MOST of the CREDIBLE experts(Not always Vegas), are picking WSU over BYU.

That's not to say that WSU is either very or extremely likely, semi guaranteed to beat BYU. WSU could still lose to BYU, if WSU doesn't keep on, continue to do, play well, etc. It's just semi somewhat likely that WSU semi probably, semi likely, semi should, semi would, semi could, etc, win over BYU.

Should be a good game.

I haven't watched byu at all this year but WSU needs to limit turnovers and pound it inside. They should be able to control the rebound game with their size advantage over BYU.

I watched BYU very early in the year run all over Oregon and then I watched them get demolished by the Zags twice. They weren't as good a team late as they were earlier in the year. Santa Clara, who we just beat, was better by the end of the year than BYU was.

I think BYU lost a couple of their best players to injury since they destroyed Oregon earlier this year. WSU will have to play a good game to win, but if they indeed play well, they should win, IMO..
