Looking for an update on CJ. My son played high school ball with him. Is he injured? Passed by on the depth charts? TIA

And that's an awesome redshirt. My guess is he will be redshirting this year. We are very deep at outside receiver this year and might be able to make him a focal point of the offense next year where as there aren't many touches available for him this year. He did play well against ASU.

He has but with the other outside spot graduating (Patmon/Winston) Jackson would give them more options. Maybe they move Jackson inside? Arcanado is a big loss as well.Doesn’t he play the same position as Tay Martin (Jr) and Rod Fisher (Fr)?

I've been waiting for one of the speedsters to take on the security blanket role in the slot because of the extra playmaking ability that would offer. Jackson, Bell, or especially Harris would be great that way, but the rapport with the QB and feel for zone coverage has to be there. I do wonder if Woods moves back outside next year to replace Patmon and Winston, but if he doesn't maybe he becomes the next Arconado. He has but with the other outside spot graduating (Patmon/Winston) Jackson would give them more options. Not worried but we really felt the loss of Arcanado literally the moment he went out with an injury in the UCLA game. Winston has definitely been Gordon's security blanket all season but Arcanado come pretty close and has maybe been the most reliable Y since Cracraft.I could see them moving CJJ to play Z with Gray. J Calvin can help ease the blow of losing Arco at Y. Not real worried about the WR corps next year.
Feel, patience and maybe being a bit smaller seems to work really well at the Y. Woods is intriguing inside for sure but I also could see him moving outside to take on a role like Patmon. Donovan Ollie and Brandon Gray are pretty exciting down the line as well.I've been waiting for one of the speedsters to take on the security blanket role in the slot because of the extra playmaking ability that would offer. Hobert looks perfect for the air-raid. Excited to see him in Crimson.Hobert will be a great possession receiver but hes pretty athletic , maybe a wes welker
Fisher needs to catch TD passes when they're thrown to him. No time to be scared in this game. But your big boy pants on and get to work son!Jamire Calvin will be Arconado next year. Bell and Harris at other spot. Jackson and Fischer and maybe Tay and id bet a transfer like the kid from Mich St or someone else
