As he has clearly said, he'll want a guarantee from an NBA team well before the draft or he's coming back to WSU. That assurance will need to take place by June 15. It really doesn't matter what the draft board prognosticators have to say, it's up to the team executives.

I don't see how anyone can guarantee anything without 314 contingencies. It all depends on who ends up getting picked before him and who's available when the teams that like him pick.

Didn't Baynes have a “promise” from Boston that if he restructured or resigned they wouldn’t move him? A few weeks later he was in Phoenix.

I just hope if he does go he gets picked. It would blow if he ended up on the outside looking in.

I totally agree. Anybody can tell CJ what he wants to hear but that doesn't guarantee anything....and, of course, no deal can be signed before the draft. He may end up rolling the dice and stay in the draft...but he can't really be 100% sure a team will pick him up. That's why there's still a good chance he'll stay in school despite what some of the mock draft boards have to say.
