IMO, DL, OL RB, and WR are the most pressing needs. Two weeks out from signing day. Coaches get your hustle on!
Lots of offers went out yesterday
Lincoln High School - high school home to Marcus Allen, Terrell Davis, and of course, the infamous QB Akili Smith! Are you sure this guy isn’t a 275 lb running back?

Seems likely, as you suggest. It would be pretty amazing if they could fill the 25 spots by signing day. And yes, I'd expect some to stick it out through spring ball at every school to see where they end up. What is hard for me to foresee is what the portal world will look like after most teams finish spring ball. Certainly, there will be some movement, both because there will be kids who are unhappy about their place in the pecking order, and there will be teams after spring ball who clearly see some gaping holes that need to be filled some how, some way....if nothing else, they will have a very clear idea of where their depth is limited. So there will be some movement. But how much? Kids who opted for the portal prior to spring ball and don't participate at all in the spring may be in a somewhat weaker position to find a place to land afterward, as opposed to kids who went through spring ball. Hard to say...a lot of this is guesswork until we see it play out. I also think that the more player-friendly staffs may see less defections, but that also remains to be seen. One aspect of Dickert's choice to build a staff with a lot of recruiters is that you would expect it to be a player-friendly environment. We'll have to wait and see, I guess. They need a ton of kids in 2 weeks OR you may see them add guys all spring and summer. I wouldnt be surprised if kids stuck it out for spring ball to see where they wound up on the depth chert.
They are in a position where they might just have to start offering kids who are borderline Pac 12 kids. I'm still not sure why they aren't hiring their 10th coach so he can go out on visits. You know you are in a world of hurt when your assistant recruiting director is out visiting SoCal California kids two weeks before signing day. Dickert needs a SoCal recruiter badly. Instead he has hired a bunch of guys w Texas ties.

Agree that I'm surprised about no 10th coach. They must be in the process of closing on the 10th, or possibly they had a deal but at the last minute # 10 went elsewhere. Either way, could use one more guy. They are in a position where they might just have to start offering kids who are borderline Pac 12 kids. He did commit earlier. Although I have heard they are having a bit of a hard time ensuring his signing because supposedly Schultz is going to require omicron booster by March.According to, in another thread Kendall Williams committed. Just thought it should be mentioned in this thread also, since this thread was about offering Kendall.
Well he too will have other options. He did commit earlier. Although I have heard they are having a bit of a hard time ensuring his signing because supposedly Schultz is going to require omicron booster by March.
There is no "T" in Schulz (just like the man).He did commit earlier. Although I have heard they are having a bit of a hard time ensuring his signing because supposedly Schultz is going to require omicron booster by March.
That would be really good signing.According to, in another thread Kendall Williams committed. Just thought it should be mentioned in this thread also, since this thread was about offering Kendall.
