Was anyone else holding their breath on that last play that they might call intentional grounding? There was not a receiver anywhere near that ball. Or maybe out of pocket/past line?? I was waiting for a flag to fly in.Mike Leach is baffled.

Still Hail Mary on our 40 yard line? Seen us lose games in weirder ways than that.Loss of down, spot foul, 1 play remaining LOL

Why do people insist on flagellating themselves? We had a great time but I.ve been doing this long enough that my enjoyment is never based solely on victory. Ironically, we had more fun sitting in seats amongst Wisconsin fans than we did in the WSU section last time. As I mentioned in the prior post yesterday morning, Wisconsin fans could still take a lesson from Auburn fans when it comes to hospitality but they were much better on this trip. I had a lot of great discussion with the folks beside and behind me during the game.
It helped that I decided to make sure to be a good guest and open with the fact that we were just hoping to have an entertaining game. We took a non Coug from Madison to the game and decked her and her daughter in WSU gear. I did.ask her to chill out a couple times because she got a little caught up in the moment and carried on a bit. You don’t do that when you are sitting amongst fans of the opposing team. The lady next to me that was very friendly for most of the game got super tense and less friendly in the fourth quarter….but to her credit…she handled the loss well and was friendly when it was done.
Lots of Cougs in the crowd and it was fantastic when we took over “sandstorm” in the third quarter. Our team, coaches and fans were jumping and Wisconsin fans were sitting on their hands. There was a very loud “Let’s go Cougars” chant that got so loud that the Wisconsin student section started booing to try to drown it out.
I killed a kitten and read some posts on the Die Hard Cougs Facebook page this morning and I’m starting to wonder if half the reason that I didn’t enjoy the 2007 game much is that I was sitting amongst sh!tty, whiny a$$ Coug fans who complained about every dropped ball or missed tackle like it was a personal affront to their existence. Frankly, Wisconsin fans handled this game way better than WSU fans would have.
I’ll finish by saying that on the way back to the car, some Wisconsin fans insisted that we stop and play a drinking game with them. Played a couple rounds of flip cup and they were great. Well, there was one dude among their group who was an asshole but his other friends were so cool that I won’t hold that against them.
They could still learn from Auburn fans about being better hosts, but after this trip, I’ll say that my opinion of Badger fans is raised significantly. They still weren’t generally “welcoming” but with the right attitude and interaction, they represented well.
The irony of this post existing on this cesspool of alt right batshit lunatics is hilarious. Why do people insist on flagellating themselves?

Oh wait, you've crowned yourself the hero of the internet, stomping out opinions contrary to yours with snide remarks and existing solely to troll other posters.
There was a game yesterday, perhaps you heard. The Cougs won, since I'm fairly confident your interest in this board has nothing to do with Cougar football. You're welcome.
