Oregon was the team that to me seemed most geared to beat the Cougs. Based on the season so far, I'm not entirely convinced our D is ready for what they bring on offense. Will be interesting to see what Claeys dials up. But the crowd and the overall hype could be the difference maker, combined with the experience/confidence of Minshew. Really need a lot of points guys.

The great thing about this year from last year is that Claeys is doing a masterful job at making adjustments. Maybe not so much in the USC game (lots to dissect there) but you look at Utah and the OSU game, the second half was night and day compared to the 1st.
No game in the Pac-12 is a 'lock'. I like this team and think they're playing well enough to beat Oregon. Offenses look about the same, defenses look about the same..... Cougs win at home 45-38.
Are we forgetting this team eaked out a win against San Jose State? They are a decent team but they are no Goliath. And the home field advantage this weekend is going to be significant. I have no doubt UW would have trucked them in their stadium...why the doubt that we can’t do the same?
WSU 42 Oregon 34. The good thing is that the PAC 12 has not really seen the Air Raid until this year. They finally have a good QB and a decent OL coach.
They are a relatively healthy, improving team - very similar to us.
While I don't doubt they'll come out swinging, I think we get ahead and force them to pass the ball, b finally exposing Herbert as the average QB he is.
The cougs can go long against this team.The RBs will play more of a role in this game. the Cougs will win this game.
This feels similar to Utah, but probably with more points. Cougs 35, Ucks 31, most of the points in the first half
