Stumbled across this Sorting News ranking article. out of 133, they have Dickert at 51, up from 77 last year.

Some pretty interesting names above (below) Dickert. Like Deion at 59.

Fair enough. Note: If Jason Eck wasn't in the Big Sky FCS, he might be in the top 50.

Two. Good for Jonathan Smith. What a tough gig, (Oregon State) and way to hustle.

Three. Look at Deboer. Up 38 spots to # 23, (mainly because of Penix).

He won't be in the Big Sky and outside the Top 50 for long.

3 years max.

I agree about Jonathan Smith. He has done an outstanding job at OSU in building that program up into a contender for PAC12 championships.

Good find Loyal.

Coach Dickert sure profiles as a rising star

Very unfortunate and divisive how he became HFC, but I expect CJD to maintain a rock solid program as the Cougar Collective gets up to speed and the facility enhancements are completed

Smith is like Coach Leach — gets it done no matter whatever advantages other programs might or might not have

I think he's built a good culture. We've traded up on the OC, I believe.

Yes, the Apple Cup really rocked many of us when it comes to our confidence in him. My God, what a shellacking. UW was a very good team by the end of last season. They got a winner in DeBoer. But to get slammed with over 700 yards vs our defense was sickening. First play in the second half l called out before the play..."long pass for a TD for the dogs." Yep. It was that kind of game.

I'm not so confident our defense will be better this season. I hope I'm proven wrong. The losses at the linebacker position were brutal.

I think the Wisconsin game will tell us a lot about the season. They are going to be much improved this year.
