College basketball starts..

.. On September 29. Only nine more days until l the official start. perhaps avavbob or others .closer to the scene.,can start commenting on how the team and individual players are looking.?

I wish I could, but I don't get down there for practices anymore. Waiting for the first exhibition game

I hope someone else steps up. I am interested in how all the new players will work out. These players are more physically gifted than last year s team. It remains to be seen as how good of basketball players they are.

Yeah it is too bad you cannot make the practices avabob. I have not heard of anyone else with a keen interest to watch practices. One has to be a basketball nut to watch the team practice. Maybe there is a student who is truly interested?

You can learn a lot by watching even one practice. I saw Klays first practice. You could have stood and watched him stroke the ball for an hour. Other guys you could see the downside. I wanted Patrick Simon to be a star, but could tell even in a ratball game the he just didn't have the presence.

I used to like to watch practices but now do not live near a major university.I choose the rural lifestyle and i like the trade off.
