The Committee for College Basketball is calling for sweeping changes in college basketball.. They seem to really want to do away with the "one and done" rule. Their recommendations seem to incorporate some of Pro Baseball s rules regarding eligibility and draft status.Many of the recommendations make sense if one looks at the current system in place.

Unfortunately, the NCAA has no control over the "1 and done" rule. So, all they can say is we support the rule being abolished. That's an issue between the NBA and the Players Assn. However, the NBA does seem willing to look at making a change to help college hoops. NBA Commish Adam Silver is smart to know the 1 and Done rule has led to enhanced corruption in the college game.

Most "experts" are saying the report is/was a waste of everyone s time. They were not impressed by Candy Rice and say it doe not address the major problem and that is the flow of money which has corrupted the sport.
