With the win last saturday Leach won his 20th game as head coach for WSU.

- This was the first winning season since 2003 for WSU.
- Coach Leach's 2 Bowl game appearance in 4 years makes him the only WSU coach in our history to go to 2 bowl games in his first 4 years.
- Coach Leach has beaten every single Pac Conference team at least 1 time in his 4 years here with missed field goal against Stanford as the lone exception.
Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, USC, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, Colorado all have been beaten by the Cougs the past 4 years.
