So here we are. No JDL. Wide open battle for the QBs, and Cooper is struggling again.
New system? Rust? Or have we reached the conclusion that it’s just not going to happen for him?
So where did you hear Cooper was struggling.
There is a Wazzu Watch story that says Cooper is comfortable with the Run and Shoot Offense, and doing ok, good, not struggling, etc.
That may or may not be a FLUFF, Ra Ra piece, but there arent any reports on Wazzu Watch or other places on Cooper's Stats.
Granted that info on his stats(And those stats might show he is struggling)might have been reported by Spokesman Review, or the Spokesman Review might have a source that told them that Cooper struggling, but I havent read the Spokesman Review recently.
So maybe I have been in a cave, but I havent heard Cooper has been struggling. I have heard quite the opposite.
But if he Cooper is struggling, then Guarantano the Transfer will be the starter.
But that said it really was, is Guarantano the Transfer's Starting Job to lose.
And the Transfer as the starter should be able to lead WSU to 5,6,7,8 wins.
So I am not worried. Cooper will likely be the back up QB.
So the depth chart will look like this:
1. Guarantano Starting QB
2. Cooper(Especially since, if he is struggling)
3. JDL or Cooper(If he struggles bad enough)
In any case, whether he is struggling or not, Cooper has had his shots, chances, and he is probably going to be a career back up. And its probably too late for him to transfer. And even if he does transfer as a Junior, Senior, its probably to late for him to start almost anywhere, unless he transfers to a place like a Whitworth tupe of place.
And that doesnt really hurt WSU, unless Guarantano gets injured, which if that happened would probably lead to a 3,4,5 win season.
It was really a good thing that Rolo brought Guarantano here, in.
