Manigault is a 6'8 230 PF pd transfer from Pitt. He transferred to Indian Hills CC and is being recruited for 2018. He averaged less than one pt and 1 rb per game during his first year at PITT..He was a top HS recruit holding offers from Georgetown Maryland and others in HS.

This guy is the grandson of the playground legend Earl "the goat""double dunk," Manigault.A blurb on him in high school states that he is all about potential. I watched videos of him and he does not seem to have a good shooting touch.Perhaps the coug coaches think that they can unleash the "potential"? i think that he will be a good player but i see other targets they should pursue . The goat passed away in the 1980's and his amazing jumping ability left also.

Pitt seemed to have high hopes but moved him from PF to Center. Wonder why he didn't do much or play?

Pitt had a lot of turnover and it could be player-coach problems or he was just not doing enough to garner playing time? He seems to have very good smooth moves but doesn t have the liftoff, his legendary grandfather was famous for. That is a lot to live up to as the "goat"is recognized by many older NBA players as one of the greats of all time.

A correction, as it seems that Manigualt is the nephew of "the Goat". He averaged 15 pts and 11 rbs as a HS senior. So he was a good not a great HS player but he had a lot of offers out of high school. It seems like a few scouting services had the wrong information .on his relationship to the legendary "Goat".
