I'm guessing, if WSU loses the lawsuit, the state's insurance fund (or carrier) will pick up the tab.

Ironically, it likely saves WSU Athletics the financial burden of the separation. It also sounds like the AG's office is on point for defending these.

Crazy times...I personally didn't think this would be the outcome.
